This is not an exhaustive list of the things I have done. Please excuse the photography as I am not a professional photographer.

There are a lot of images on the following pages users with a dial up connection may have a long wait for the download and may want to ask us for the printed version of our Portfolio.

Kitchen floor. The old floor was a mix of carpet and a vinyl flooring. The home owners wanted a tile floor in their kitchen/dinning room.

Bath Sink. The old sink leaked and the home owner wanted a new sink and vanity top. The owner also wanted a larger than normal backsplash, because this bath is located near their garage entrance and the walls get quite dirty.

Glass Block Window. The old window frame was rusted and bugs just crawled right in. The owner said that it was very cold in the winter. Notice the attempt at blocking the drafts and bugs.

Front Door with Storm.  The old metal front door was coming apart and the wood in the sidelights were starting to look bad. The homeowner decided to replace the whole unit instead of just an new door slab. She clamed to have a draft under the door when it was closed, when the old door unit was removed we found no calk or sealant under the door to stop drafts. The new units gives a much updated look and is more weather resistant than the old.

Front Door.    This is another example of a replacement of a door unit. The homeowner also choose to have a new storm door. The storm door adds so much to the visual appeal of the front of the house, it was a nice addition.

Cellar Door.  The old cellar door looks like it was custom made. The new door is more weather resistant, lighter and more attractive.

Countertop. The homeowner bought this house with an unfinished wet bar area. The counter top material was selected and a custom countertop was made. Looks great, when is the party?

Porches and Doors. The homeowner wanted a new side door. When the new door was in they decided that the side and back stoops had to go! They decided on a new back stoop and a custom side deck. Looks great!

Window. The homeowner bought this house with a window boarded up. She wanted a window put back in its place. When the new window was in she loved the window so much she ordered a whole house full of new windows.

Wall Repair. A kitchen remodel that I did, had a section of wall that the plaster was loose. Of course when removing the backsplash, that loose plaster came crumbing down. After the repair you would never have known it was damaged.

Termite/Ant Damage. While replacing a sliding glass door out onto a deck we found out that they had some unwanted visitors.

Basement Remodel. Turned an unfinished basement into a family room with a bar and a bath.

Bathroom Tile Floor. Removed some old linoleum flooring and replaced it with ceramic tile and evened up the transition between the hardwood flooring in the hall and the new bath floor.

Garage Remodel. The home owners wanted a clean looking garage. I think they now have it! Steel paneling, insulation, and new doors make this one nice garage.

Door Overhang. A home in the Historic District in Kalamazoo, with a door overhang in bad shape.

Porch Entry. Same home in the Historic District in Kalamazoo, with a porch roof problem.

Custom Bookcases. A customer with a large collection of books wanted a custom bookcase that went wall to wall.

Indoor Pool Remodel. A customer's worst nightmare happened when his ventilation system malfunctioned in his indoor pool room. The result, severe moisture damage to the room all the way down to the framing. There are 3 pages to this portfolio.

Deck with Cobblestone Walkway. The customer wanted space in their yard to enjoy it. The current patio slab was way too small to do that. We also installed a cobblestone walkway to the deck from the driveway and a small planting bed at the end of the deck near the driveway. The deck is cedar with hidden fasteners and a "trap" door for the egress window.

Deck with Grill Bumpout. The customer had some trees taken down in her backyard and wanted at deck put in. We custom build the deck to include a grill bumpout, a built in bench and side tables, and a place to hang her hammock.
